Cosmodyne receives LNG plant order from UGI Corp.

Cosmodyne LLC, a subsidiary of Cryogenics Industries, has received a contract to provide a LINEX 120 000 gal./day natural gas liquefaction plant from UGI Energy Services LLC, a subsidiary of UGI Corp. The plant will be located at their facility in Northeast Pennsylvania.
“Cosmodyne was selected because of their dedicated support to our project and experience in providing liquefaction solutions into a variety of different markets. UGI had some special requirements and preferences on certain aspects of the design and we found Cosmodyne to be very amenable to accommodate us in our needs”, said Mike Mara, Vice President of Engineering and Operations.

We continue to build on our extensive experience in the natural gas industry by working closely with our clients in providing safe, reliable and efficient liquefaction solutions,” added George Pappagelis, General Manager of Cosmodyne LLC.
Cosmodyne will deliver equipment for natural gas pretreatment, natural gas liquefaction, cooling systems and a gas turbine driver, and the plant is expected to be operational by 2017.
