Fjords Processing wins supplier award from GE Power & Water
Fjords Processing has recently received the prestigious award which recognises suppliers who consistently meet the sourcing critical to quality and price, delivery quality, and demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness to General Electric (GE).
GE Power and Water supplier's conference
Over 300 Chinese suppliers and international companies attended the GE Power and Water supplier's conference, held in Shanghai on 6 May 2015, where Fjords Processing received the award.
Fjords Processing's Managing Director for Region Asia Pacific, Muralee Menon, accepted the award on behalf of the company, commenting: "We appreciate having the opportunity to receive this award because it proves that we have managed to consistently demonstrate our commitment to GE with our quick response to their design and projects schedules and keeping the excellent quality of the modules delivered. We look forward to continue serving GE and other key clients with our offerings, always focusing on finding the best solutions based on their needs."
Fjords Processing's relationship with GE started in 1997 by supplying modules globally for GE's power business. At the Shanghai conference, Fjords Processing was also recognised with an award for the delivery of the 1000th module to GE Power and Water since 1997.
In their evaluation, GE states; "This supplier focused on GE's demand and dedicated much on the capacity increasing to execute the increased volume. They actively improve the management of production and keep excellent quality of products; well completed the modules for GE Gas turbine and GE steam turbine business."
