Outokumpu win health and safety award
Outokumpu’s UK based rod mill has been awarded the RoSPA Occupational Heath and Safety gold award for 2014. This is for health and safety management practice at the site. RoSPA undertake these awards annually and their purpose is to recognise companies for their commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work.
RoSPA is the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. The society’s mission is to save lives and reduce injuries, and its history dates back 58 years.
