India looks import an additional 2.6 million bbls from Saudi Arabia this March
Indian refiners have sought to import an additional 2.6 million bbls of oil from Saudi Arabia this March.
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) is one of the companies behind this request for additional supplies; the company is looking for an additional 600 000 bbls. MRPL has also doubled its annual import deal with Saudi Arabia, raising the total to 42 000 bpd.
Another major Indian player, Hindustan Mittal Energy Ltd (HMEL) has asked for an additional 2 million bbls for March. HMEL asked for an additional 1 million bbls in January. Saudi Aramco has yet to confirm the additional supplies.
