Exterran to develop gas processing plant in Bolivia
Exterran Holdings, Inc. announced today that Petrobras has awarded the company a contract for the design, fabrication and sale of a major natural gas processing and treating facility in Itau, Bolivia.
The facility is a dew point gas processing plant that can process 200 million standard ft3/d of natural gas and is expected to start up during 2013. Exterran is the primary contractor on the project, providing equipment; engineering, procurement and construction products and services; and project management.
Exterran’s President and CEO Brad Childers said, “This project further expands our presence in the Latin America region and demonstrates Exterran’s capacity to provide a single source for product integration, project management and efficient delivery, installation and startup.”
