Siemens to supply wastewater treatment systems to Chinese refinery
Siemens Energy has received an order for the supply of a refinery wastewater treatment system to the Sinopec Jiujiang Petrochemical Company’s Jiangxi province refinery.
The system includes PACT biological treatment, wet air regeneration (WAR) and a Hydro-Clear filter system, and a Zimpro wet air oxidation system (WAO) for spent caustic treatment. This technology is key to Jiujiang Petrochemical’s upgrade to meet new national discharge standards for wastewater and water reuse.
