Linde Engineering to reorganise

Hydrocarbon Engineering,

The family of Linde Engineering companies in North America is reorganising into a single, unified organisation called Linde Engineering North America Inc. (LENA).

Prior to the restructure, two companies existed, including Linde Process Plants and Linde Engineering North America along with its Hydro-Chem division. Under the new structure, the staff, products and services associated with each entity will combine to create a new and singular Linde Engineering North America Inc. operation.

Hydro-Chem will continue to operate as a division of LENA. LENA's Fired Capital Equipment operation in Blue Bell, PA has been renamed Selas Linde North America, a Division of LENA. The products and services as well as industry markets served by each of the former entities will not change as a result of the reorganisation, according to company officials.

"The realignment allows us to better serve customers and operate more effectively," said Steve Bertone, the Chief Executive Officer of the unified company. "We remain committed to our customers, suppliers and other partners as we focus on building future growth."

Upon finalising the reorganisation, Linde Engineering North America will have its primary presence in Tulsa, OK and Houston, TX, both of which are existing locations. The company will also maintain its Hydro-Chem location in Atlanta, GA and its Selas Linde North America location in Blue Bell, PA.

"Although we are placing increased emphasis in certain geographic markets, we are not exiting any area of our business operations or discontinuing any products or services," Bertone said. Linde Engineering North America remains a member of The Linde Group, a world leading gas and engineering company, headquartered in Munich, Germany.
