Safety award for Air Liquide

The engineering and construction division of Air Liquide, Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions has received the Triangle Safety Award for its exemplary safety record during its construction of an air separation unit (ASU) in Mississippi, USA. The award is the highest safety award presented by the southeastern electric utility for which the ASU was built, and recognises contractors that achieve superior levels of safety performance.

Award criteria

  • Perform at least 100 000 work hours during the year across all of the company’s sites.
  • Sustain no lost time injuries or fatalities.
  • Achieve a recordable incident rate which is below the company’s goal.
  • Cause no incident resulting in injury or interruption to the company’s production operations as a result of their work.
