Venture Global LNG, Inc. has announced that its subsidiary, Venture Global Calcasieu Pass, LLC, has entered into an exclusive agreement securing an additional 432 acres in connection with its proposed liquefied natural gas project in Cameron Parish, LA.

The expansion will considerably increase the available land for the project, now totalling 938 acres. Calcasieu Pass will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.

At peak construction, the facility will employ approximately 1500 workers and is expected to create approximately 130 long-term, direct jobs. It is projected to be operational in late 2019.
