Air Products rated as Top 100 Ideal Employer in China

Air Products has been selected as one of China’s Top 100 Ideal Employers 2014 by a group of post-90s university students majoring in natural sciences in the Universum Chinese Student Survey 2014.

Over 51 000 students in the fields of natural science, business, engineering, law, humanities/liberal arts, and health/medicine, from 103 top universities across China were surveyed.

Stephen J. Jones, senior vice president and general manager, Tonnage Gases, Equipment and Energy, and China president, Air Products, said: “We feel honoured to be ranked among China’s Top 100 Ideal Employers again. Talent management is a key component of Air Products’ company strategy. The award is a testimony to our attractiveness to new-generation science talents and our recognition as employer of choice in China. We will continue to cultivate local talent and support the growth of industrial development”.

Air Products has joint research programs with more than a dozen universities in China, including Tsinghua University, Tianjin Univeristy, Zhejiang University, China Univeristy of Geosciences, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Jilin Univeristy, University of Science and Technology Beijing and South China University of Technology. The company has also established scholarship programs with ten leading universities.
