Hydrocarbon Engineering,
Trestle Energy LLC, a San Diego based energy company conducting business in the Midwest, is excited to share the opportunities and benefits of its unique approach to advancing key climate policies.
Trestle's founder, Dr James Rhodes, has been on a summer tour of Midwest states advising ethanol and power producers, agricultural groups and policy decision makers in anticipation of the Clean Power Plan and other global, national and regional climate initiatives. "Visiting with farmers and power producers has been valuable and rewarding. It's wonderful to see how our work makes a real and positive impact for hard working Americans."
Dr Rhodes' innovative, patented technologies enable ethanol producers to scale up production of low carbon ethanol with cost effective, reliable biomass supplies. He has enabled existing coal plants to produce electricity with the cost and reliability of coal, but with carbon emissions similar to wind. His ability to scale up supplies of dispatchable, renewable energy and substantially reduce CO2 emissions at existing power plants, combined with his international track record as a climate policy advisor, uniquely position him to aid farming communities, the ethanol industry and power producers in taking advantage of opportunities created by upcoming climate policy changes. Rhodes' reputation for consensus building among key policy making stakeholders provides the framework for analysing new information as it becomes available and maximising benefits to all invested parties.
