Envirosystems acquires Victoria Treatment facility

Envirosystems Inc. (Envirosystems) has announced that it has acquired the Victoria Treatment facility (facility) located in Victoria, British Columbia from Tervita Corporation (Tervita). The facility handles multiple waste streams generated by shipyards, cruise ships, freighters, tankers and other marine vessels.
The facility is also supported by a field services operation that collects and manages household hazardous waste materials and performs lab-packing work for a variety of commercial and government customers on Vancouver Island.
Headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Envirosystems is one of the fastest growing industrial services organisations in North America with over 1000 employees in more than 40 locations throughout Canada and the US.
Envirosystems's President and CEO, Mike Ryan, stated, "This acquisition is part of our ongoing initiative to expand our service footprint and provide a wider range of service offerings to our clients. We welcome the professional staff from Tervita and look forward to a smooth transition."
