Biodico, a sustainable biofuel and bioenergy company, has announced its Biodico Westside facility in Fresno County, California, the world’s first ever biofuel production facility that runs entirely on renewable heat and power generated onsite, will go online the first week of December 2015.
The facility produces up to 20 million gal./y of biodiesel, employing multi-feedstock functionality, as well as incorporating advanced sensors for realtime and remote monitoring, leading to complete system automation.
“Our new facility in the San Joaquin Valley produces economically and environmentally viable bio-based fuel and energy for local farmers and truckers, and creates new jobs in the community,” said Biodico President and Founder, Russ Teall. “This facility demonstrates Biodico’s commitment to an integrated value chain model that includes accelerated and inexpensive construction and deployment, enhanced throughput with reduced operating costs, and increased monetisation of renewable fuel and energy.”
