Hydrocarbon Engineering,
Kent has announced its continued support of OXEA Corp. through a long-term Engineering Services Agreement and the award of detailed engineering services for a major specialty chemicals project at OXEA’s Bay City facility in Texas, US.
The work forms part of a three-year Master Services Agreement (MSA) signed between Kent and OXEA in 2025, establishing a framework for the delivery of engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services across OXEA’s operations.
As part of this collaboration, Kent successfully completed the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase for a strategic specialty chemicals project in early 2026. Building on this success, OXEA subsequently awarded Kent the detailed engineering phase of the project, with engineering activities currently progressing strongly and scheduled for completion later this year. The project represents a significant investment in specialty chemicals manufacturing and demonstrates OXEA’s commitment to enhancing its production capabilities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.
Beyond the EPCM programme, Kent recently completed a comprehensive laser scanning campaign across OXEA’s Bay City facility, providing high-quality digital asset data that will support future engineering, maintenance and capital project activities.
“We are delighted to continue strengthening our relationship with OXEA through this important project and broader engineering services partnership,” said Tom Bullard, EVP Americas at Kent, “The successful completion of the FEED phase and subsequent award of detailed engineering demonstrates the confidence OXEA has in Kent’s technical capabilities, project delivery expertise and commitment to helping clients achieve their strategic objectives.”
The ongoing collaboration highlights Kent’s ability to support clients throughout the full project lifecycle — from early-stage studies and design through detailed engineering, procurement support, construction management and operational readiness.
