Elliott Group has announced two senior appointments.
Takanobu (Nobu) Miyaki assumed the role of Vice President of Industrial Products (IP) on 1 March 2020, while Shane Reph has been named as Vice President of Global Service, effective 4 May 2020.
Miyaki’s responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of Elliott’s IP business, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales of the company’s YR steam turbine product line. He will report directly to CEO Michael Lordi.
“I look forward to working closely with Nobu as he steps into his new role,” said Lordi. “His background in environmental engineering and his knowledge of markets and applications brings an added dimension to Elliott’s industrial steam turbine and power generation business.”
“I will build upon the solid foundation established over many years for one of Elliott’s oldest product lines, with a key focus on advancing improvements in performance, cost, and delivery to increase customer satisfaction,” said Miyaki.
Miyaki brings 25 years of experience to his new position. He joined parent company Ebara in 1996 as a Project Engineer for waste treatment plant applications, and held roles of increasing responsibility, including General Manager of Ebara Environmental Germany, and Manager of Business Development at Ebara headquarters. He transferred from Ebara to Elliott in 2014 to serve as Director, Corporate Development, where he played an instrumental role in the acquisition of Ebara International Corp.’s Cryodynamic Products business. He was promoted to Director, Engineered Solutions in June 2018.
Shane Reph began his career at Elliott in October 2011 as Director of Engineered Solutions. He has also held positions as Director of Global Service Sales, and most recently, as Director of Elliott’s Global Service Centers. As Vice President of Global Service, his responsibilities will encompass all of Elliott’s aftermarket businesses.
“Over the past nine years, Shane has directed the activities of three of Elliott’s core Global Service businesses, strengthening both our customer-centric focus and our global service network,” said Michael Lordi. “His leadership, energy, and vision greatly contributed to a period of strong, sustained growth for Elliott’s Global Service organisation, and I look forward to working with him in his new role.”
“I am energised by the dedicated teamwork exhibited by Elliott’s Global Service organisation, which is fuelled by a mutual commitment to doing what we say we’ll do, delivering results, and supporting each other,” said Shane. “I will continue to build high performing teams focused on delivering what we promise, and standardise operational rhythms, tools, processes, and procedures to improve predictability and drive growth. Prior to Elliott, Shane was with GE Oil & Gas, where his roles included General Manager of GE CONMEC, Vice President of Aerospace Ground Support Equipment, and General Manager/Vice President of GE North America Oil & Gas. Shane also previously worked for Teleflex – Sermatech Power Solutions as President/CEO of the Industrial Gas Turbine Division and as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
