Hydrocarbon Engineering,
Turner & Townsend has announced the appointment of Aileen Jamieson as the company’s Global Director of Downstream.
In her new role, Aileen will be responsible for business growth, strategy and marketing of the consultancy’s downstream sector.
Since joining Turner & Townsend in 2010, she has been a Director and Vice President of Natural Resources, and has worked in both Edinburgh, UK and Houston, Texas, US, supporting oil and gas clients across the upstream industry.
Ms Jamieson will continue to head up the Performance Forum joint industry project, the leading provider of upstream project cost and schedule benchmarking.
Ms Jamieson said: “Many refiners now face the inevitable erosion of their refining margins after recent record profits. This presents a significant opportunity to help refiners deliver capital upgrade and de-bottleneck projects as well as maintenance turnarounds to optimise safe, reliable and efficient operations. The challenge for us is to ensure our clients improve their cost and schedule predictability, which is key to assuring operational cash flow.
“My goal is for Turner & Townsend to be recognised as the leading provider of professional services to the downstream industry, delivering predictable outcomes in project and shutdown delivery.”
