Refinery Transformation: Minimising Risks for a Sustainable Future

ON DEMAND Watch this webinar to explore the transformative journey of refineries as they adapt to the growing demand for sustainable fuels and circular economies amidst stringent carbon regulations.

As the energy sector addresses the urgent need for a circular economy and sustainable fuels, like sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs), refineries stand on the brink of a sustainability revolution. The industry is driven by changes in market demands and stringent policies, all while struggling with the environmental impacts of traditional refining processes and the production of fossil fuels.

However, the obstacles are numerous in the transformation: from the volatility of policies and shifting markets to the development and maturity of new technologies and new feedstocks. Refiners are faced with the question of whether to upgrade their ageing infrastructure or invest in new facilities. Financing these new ventures adds another layer of complexity, requiring consideration of both financial viability and sustainability.

To help refiners overcome these obstacles, Axens has developed an offering, DeCARBON’us™, designed to accompany customers on setting up and de-risking their decarbonisation journey through tailor-made studies. It ensures that projects are not only environmentally sound but also economically viable.

This webinar will highlight the importance of comprehensive early studies that address the unique challenges of each project, providing tailored insights and financial analysis. These studies are critical to mitigating risk and securing investment, setting the stage for a more sustainable and profitable energy future.

Join this webinar to gain valuable insights into how to navigate the energy transition and learn how others have worked hand-in-hand with Axens’ DeCARBON’us™ to position themselves in the sustainable energy landscape.
