Gustavo Mariani, CEO of Pampa, stated: “The construction of this plant and its associated infrastructure is key to strengthening our operation in Vaca Muerta. It will allow us to capture the production of the entire field, which covers an area of 240 km2, and connect to the main transportation systems.”
The project includes the design, construction, and operation of a central processing facility (CPF) that will allow for the processing, storage, and transportation of oil and natural gas.
It also includes the construction of oil and gas pipelines that will connect production to existing trunk systems, such as the Perito Moreno Gas Pipeline and the Vaca Muerta Sur Oil Pipeline, as well as the installation of processing plants, storage terminals, and pumping stations, among other associated infrastructure.
This project is part of the comprehensive investment plan that Pampa Energía is carrying out in Rincón de Aranda, where it is investing US$1.5 billion to increase its oil production tenfold.
