Following extensive site testing, ENVEA will supply:
- EN 14181 QAL 1 Certified, Continuous Emissions Monitoring System configured to measure oxides of nitrogen (NOx), nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and nitrous oxide (N2O), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) sulfur dioxide (SO2), hydrogen chloride (HCl), hydrogen fluoride (HF), ammonia (NH3), volatile organic compounds (VOC), oxygen (O2), and moisture (H2O).
- EN 14181 QAL 1 Certified Analysers for total particulate matter, mercury, dioxins, furans, and flow.
- MCERTS-certified Data Acquisition Software – meets EN14181 QAL2 and QAL3 data logging requirements.
In addition, the MIR-FTIR gas analyser was specified for raw gas measurements, which allows the plant operator to analyse up to 15 gases simultaneously. This provides valuable data to improve combustion efficiency and reagent usage.
Valentin Gheorghita, Service Manager said: “With significant experience in working with 120 waste-to-energy sites, we’re well placed to provide the right solutions for this facility. Our robust and future-proof emissions monitoring solution will ensure that this new EfW plant will operate within the stringent environmental standards required and contribute to its sustainability goals.”
Through the contract, the plant will benefit from enhanced cost and efficiency effectiveness through the advanced raw gas analysis supplied.
Combined with ENVEA’s management and support from the initial design through to installation and beyond with ongoing service and support, this will ensure the plant is fully efficient and effective in its operations.
