SPATCO Petroleum Solutions, a wholly owned division of SPATCO Energy Solutions, has announced it has acquired Mid South Pump Sales and Service, a Tennessee-based supplier of equipment and services to the petroleum industry. Mid South is an authorised distributor of Wayne Fuelling Systems and Veeder-Root petroleum equipment, operating offices in Nashville, TN and Jackson, TN. Garland Bissinger, one of two Mid South owners, will join SPATCO Petroleum Solutions.

"As long time industry colleagues, we are pleased to work with Garland and his team. We share an appreciation of high quality equipment and customer service," said Jeff Dailey, President and CEO of SPATCO Energy Solutions. "Combining the strengths of SPATCO Energy Solutions with the experienced team of Mid South Pump not only expands our presence in the Southeast strategically, it supports our commitment to providing the highest level of 24/7 customer service by the most talented staff and service technicians in the industry."

"We welcome the alignment with SPATCO as the next and most logical step in the evolution of our industry and long history at Mid South," said Garland Bissinger. "The combination of these two respected organisations is a natural fit that will allow our combined teams to exceed the growing demands of our valued customers."

Established four decades ago, Mid South Pump grew from a spinoff company that specialised in the layout design and construction of new service stations into a full service petroleum company that offers installation and a wide selection of parts and equipment as well as service across a four state area.
