Toyo to construct naphtha cracking furnaces at Chiba plant

Toyo Engineering Corp. has secured a contract to add two naphtha cracking furnaces to increase ethylene production at Maruzen Petrochemical Co’s Chiba plant in Japan.

Toyo has executed various projects for Maruzen Petrochemical since 1967, and will carry out this project towards completion, scheduled for 2020 under the safety-first policy.

Toyo’s domestic subsidiary, TEC Project Services Corporation (TPS), will be mainly responsible for construction work.
