NEXTCHEM has inaugurated its new premises at its MyReplast 30 000 m2 upcycling plant in Bedizzole, Brescia, Italy, during a ceremony attended by local authorities and company top management.

The new building includes meeting rooms and new offices, as well as a showroom with an experiential area in the entrance hall where clients can observe the integrated plastic upcycling process, from flakes to finished products. MyReplast Industries has been part of the NEXTCHEM family since 2019. In addition to the plastic upcycling plant in Bedizzole, it also operates other production and commercial facilities based in the UAE. The upcycling process is a mechanical plastic recycling technology that produces new polymers and high-purity compounds (r-polymers) based on the proprietary NX Replast™ technology.

The Bedizzole plant can produce over 40 000 tpy of recycled polymers, processing a wide range of incoming plastic waste, both in the industrial post-consumer sector (car components, food, and industrial packaging production waste) and in the urban post-consumer sector (material from municipal separate waste collection). The advanced treatment technology ensures that the resulting recycled polymer meets the highest quality standards, achieving a recycling efficiency of 95%. NX Replast technology enhances the properties of plastic feedstock, delivering upcycled products suited for high value-added ‘premium’ markets.

The ceremony was attended by Fabrizio Di Amato, Chairman and Founder of MAIRE, Alessandro Bernini, CEO of MAIRE, and Fabio Fritelli, Managing Director of NEXTCHEM; Raffaele Cattaneo, Undersecretary with responsibility for International and European Relations for the Lombardy Region; Alvise Biffi, President of Assolombarda; and Giovanni Cottini, Mayor of Bedizzole.

Fabrizio Di Amato, Chairman of MAIRE, commented: “The inauguration of these premises reaffirms our commitment to advanced plastic waste recycling. Thanks to proprietary technologies, we are able to offer tangible, sustainable solutions for the energy transition and the circular economy. We are proud of MAIRE’s recognition as a benchmark in Europe for promoting Italian excellence and expertise worldwide.”
