PIC and AmCham Kuwait sign MoU to advance petrochemical investment

Petrochemical Industries Co. (PIC), a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corp. (KPC), have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AmCham Kuwait to advance petrochemical investment and commercial cooperation.

The agreement will help PIC expand its network with US companies and explore new commercial and strategic opportunities across the petrochemical value chain.

Nadia Al Hajji, Chief Executive Officer of PIC, said: “This agreement will help PIC strengthen its relationships in the US market and explore new opportunities across the petrochemical value chain. It supports our ambition to grow our international network and create long-term value for PIC and Kuwait.”

Dr. Arezou Harraf, Chairwoman of ABCK–AmCham Kuwait, added: “PIC’s international experience and strategic vision provide a valuable foundation for expanding business and commercial ties between Kuwait and the US. Through this agreement, we look forward to connecting PIC with potential business partners, customers, and investment opportunities across the US petrochemical sector, supporting its growth ambitions and creating value for businesses in both countries.”

The collaboration will connect PIC with relevant US stakeholders, including investors, petrochemical producers, traders, distributors, industrial customers, engineering firms, and technology providers. Areas of cooperation include market insights, executive dialogue, and participation in trade missions, business delegations, and industry forums.

By bringing together PIC’s industry capabilities and AmCham Kuwait’s business network, the agreement underscores the value of cooperation between Kuwait’s national enterprises and business organisations in advancing Kuwait-U.S. economic ties.
