REMBE: Hall 9.1, Stand C26

This year’s ACHEMA will feature REMBE’s new manufacturing process for bursting disks, non-invasive signalling unit and Q-Rohr DFE for dual fuel and gas powered engines.

A new manufacturing process for bursting disks has been developed by REMBE, promising products with even greater precision and resistance to alternating pressure. The company has developed some special laser cutting and abrasion methods, so that it is now possible to make both tensile loaded and reverse acting bursting disks with maximum precision.

REMBE’s wide ranging product line up of signalling devices for specialists in explosion protection and process safety has now been enhanced even further by the addition of NIMU (Non-Invasive Monitoring Unit). NIMU is attached within a blind hole in the bursting disk holder, thus isolating it from the process medium. This signalling method is particularly suited for critical processes and applications, which require the entire system to be completely impermeable. The Q-Rohr DFE is a further development of the well established Q-Rohr, the first product for flameless venting. DFE stands for dual fuel engines and is intended, in particular for maritime applications. However, the product also protects land-based gas engines used in power generation.

Sandvik Process Systems: Hall 4, Stand F4

Sandvik will use this year’s ACHEMA to highlight the benefits of its advanced Rotoform granulation system. Available in a choice of models to meet the solidification requirements of a wide range of different chemical products, Sandvik’s Rotoform system is used to convert chemical melts into free flowing, uniform pastilles for easy storage, transportation, dosing and mixing.Applications include the high productivity solidification of products as varied as resins, hot melts, waxes, fatty chemicals, antioxidants and fine chemicals. The Rotoform can alsobe used to solidify subcooling melts. The system is capable of handling molten products at up to 320°C and viscosities up to 50.000 mPas, and pastilles can be produced in diameters from 1 - 30 mm. Particular focus will be placed on the system’s all stainless steel design and ease of cleaning, qualifying it for use in production lines requiring good manufacturing practice (GMP) compliance, including food and pharmaceutical applications.

Servomex: Area F2, Stand A10

Servomex, a world leader in gas analysis and sensing technology, will be opening the doors of its unique Demovan at ACHEMA 2015 to showcase the revolutionary new SERVOTOUGH MiniLaser Oxy.

In addition to the MiniLaser platform, analysers from Servomex’s full range will be on show in the Demovan. Dedicated experts from Servomex’s Europe, Middle East and Africa regional sales and technical teams will be on hand to welcome visitors, answer questions about Servomex’s full solutions and services and help them to explore the analysers available across the renowned SERVOTOUGH Hazardous Area, SERVOPRO Safe Area SERVOFLEX Portable and DF High Purity product ranges. Whatever the requirement, visitors to ACHEMA, the world forum for chemical engineering and the process industry will benefit from a visit to Servomex’s distinctive Demovan for a fully informed choice.

WEKA Switzerland: Hall 8.0, Stand G94

WEKA is a leading Swiss based manufacturer of instruments for level measurement of liquids, cryogenic components and special valves. With approximately 60 employees, the company reacts fast to clients’ needs. Its strengths are development, production and testing of tailor made solutions for level Measurement of liquids based on the float principle, as well as for cryogenic components and special valves.WEKA has over 40 years experience successfully supplying the most reliable and safe visual level indicator to the oil and gas industry. WEKA’s magnetic level indicators and accessories carries ATEX, IECEx, RTN, EAC and many more approvals to serve the most difficult applications on and offshore.WEKA’s products for liquid measurement have been examined and approved by the main important and internationally recognised organisations. Numerous approvals together with periodic audits grant continuous quality control throughout the production process.Considering the large variety of applications different models of VLI are available. Operation pressures from technical vacuum up to 420 barg, operation temperatures ranging from cryogenic conditions up to 400°C as well as liquid densities all the way down to 0.3 g/cm are within WEKA’s scope of supply.

Yokogawa: Hall 11.1, E16

The year 2015 is a very exciting one for Yokogawa; the global process automation specialist is celebrating its centenary. Backed up by 100 years of experience and knowhow as a developer of process automation technology, Yokogawa will continue to provide solutions, services and products combining the highest possible quality and reliability for industrial automation applications.

There will be four key focuses at the Yokogawa exhibit:

  • Safety & Security: Yokogawa's Safety & Security solutions reconcile economic and sustainability requirements in day to day operations; for instance, with a wireless gas detector based on ISA100 Wireless technology for improved functional safety.
  • Resource Efficiency: Yokogawa's Resource Efficiency solutions are an integral element of VigilantPlant, the company’s holistic automation concept. Yokogawa also plans to unveil a smart burner control solution based on the new TDSL8000 analyser.
  • Plant Performance: VPSRemote is a solution for remote monitoring and maintenance within the VigilantPlant Services suite that allows information to be collected and provides the support needed to troubleshoot problems before they have a chance to become critical.
  • Ease of Interaction: CENTUM VP R6, Yokogawa's production and process control station featuring Module Based Automation Engineering, is a platform for managing automation projects efficiently and compliantly with lifecycle demands.
    • Zwick: Hall 08, Stand E27

Zwick is a leading manufacturer of metal seated triple offset butterfly valves known as series TRI-CON. The check valves, called TRI-CHECK and the TRI-BLOCK series, are Zwick’s Double Block and Bleed Design.

30 years experience in the design and production of valves guarantee high standard products. The triple offset butterfly valves are specially designed for critical services where they are used as shut off and control valves. The in house design enables customised solutions for individual applications, such as the global industries of oil and gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, energy, offshore and steel. TRI-CON valves incorporate a third offset design with a true cone in cone seating and a reliable zero leakage performance, and allow bidirectional tightness. The number of technical attributes of the product, with the cone in cone seating design with the multiple laminations and the metal seat, makes the series TRI-CON an allrounder for many different industrial applications. Zwick valves are used for industrial and exhaust gases, liquids, hot water or steam at low temperatures, as well as temperature zones up to 815°C.
